Pumpkin-Spiced Apple Smoothie: Sugar-Free Guilt-Free Treat

Pumpkin-spiced treats are a fall favorite!  This flavorful pumpkin-spiced apple smoothie is a sugar-free, guilt-free immune boosting treat you can enjoy as often as you like!

Made of apples, bananas, dates, and of course pumpkin spice; this whole food beverage is a satisfying healthy breakfast, lunch or snack. I enjoy this one serving recipe in the afternoon or as an after dinner treat if I’m tempted with unhealthy snacking.

I make my own organic pumpkin spice and use this recipe from Cedar Mountain Herb School.  Did you see Suzanne’s Pumpkin Spice Miel recipe in the post too?  It’s a must for me each fall.  My favorite way to use this spiced honey is to add it to hot water for a comforting tea on fall evenings.

For convenience, I always have frozen bananas in my freezer . I peel the ripe bananas, break them into pieces, and store them in zip-lock bags in the freezer. Buying discounted ripe bananas and freezing them is an economical way to have healthy food on hand.
